Jonas Vingegaard believes Sepp Kuss can deliver for Jumbo-Visma: "We try to help each other as best as possible"

Jonas Vingegaard did not get into trouble in the Vuelta on Saturday. The Dane from Jumbo-Visma neatly crossed the finish line in the group of favorites and maintained his podium position with seven stages to go.

After the finish, Vingegaard especially praises day winner Remco Evenepoel. "It's really cool that he fought back like that. He rode an impressive stage and it is a deserved victory for him." After his masterclass, the Belgian takes over the mountain jersey from Vingegaard, who does not seem to mind. "Of course I would have liked to ride in the mountain jersey for longer, but he really deserves it."

Finally, it is about red jersey wearer Sepp Kuss, who seems to be the man at Jumbo-Visma to complete it. "I tell him to believe in it and to always sit at the front. We try to help each other as best as possible," ends the Tour de France winner.
