This year's surprising Danish champion will get a chance to prove himself at Decathlon AG2R on a long contract

The surprising Danish champion in road racing, Rasmus Sojberg Pedersen, has signed a contract with the WorldTour team Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale Team from next season.

The Dane confirmed to Feltet.dk that he has reached an agreement with the French team from the 2025 season. It is a long contract of a full three years. This season he has been riding on their development team, the Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale Development Team, but will get a chance to prove himself at the the big scene.

Pedersen has had several big victories in recent years, where he has become double U23 champion, won GP Herning this year and two stages in the Olympia Tour, where he also finished in second place overall.

The Dane's season culminated in June, when the biggest victory of his career came when he won the Danish men's championship ahead of Kasper Asgreen, Frederik Wandahl and Michael Valgren.
