The World Tour's less active riders in 2023 - 8 race days for the chart leader

Whilst Luis León Sánchez was the rider to race the most race days in 2023, with 90 races/stages in the peloton on his final season as a pro rider, some riders had only 10 or less days on the bike. We take a look at those who have raced the least.

Out of the World Tour riders, it was Team DSM-Firmenich's Frederik Rodenberg who has ridden the lead. The 25-year old raced the Saudi Tour and a few stages of the UAE Tour but hasn't been in the peloton ever since due to injuries. In second place it was a tie between Arkéa Samsic's Nicolas Edet who hasn't raced since February due to a Pseudarthrosis; and BORA - hansgrohe's Victor Koretzky who spent a lot of time competing in the Mountain Bike field. Sergio Tu, Henri Vandenabeele, Amaury Capiot, Felix Grosss and Taco van der Hoorn were among those who raced the least.
