The organization of the
Tour of Britain has announced which teams will participate in this year's British stage race. Jumbo-Visma returns to the race after a year of absence while TDT-Unibet will make their debut in the British 2.Pro race as the Dutch team received a wildcard.
In addition to Jumbo-Visma, INEOS Grenadiers, Team dsm-firmenich, Movistar and BORA-hansgrohe are also WorldTeams at the start of the race that starts on September 3 and has eight stages.
In addition, six PRT teams will make their appearance as well as two British conti teams, UK National Team and Global6 from New Zealand.
The last time Jumbo-Visma rode this race, Wout van Aert won the final classification and triumphed in three stages. Last year Tom Pidcock stole the show, but it was Gonzalo Serrano who took the overall victory.
