Whilst Jumbo-Visma and UAE Team Emirates were involved in a fierce and tightly fought battle at the top of the men's UCI standings, in the women's rankings there was a clear winner.
Team SD Worx were the runaway winners and crowned UCI World Tour Best Team courtesy of 61 wins throughout 2023, including notable successes at some of the year's biggest races such as a one-two finishes at the Tour de France Femmes, the Amstel Gold Race and the Simac Ladies Tour among other results, the domination has been clear to see.
These numerous victories, led by the likes of Demi Vollering, Lotte Kopecky, Marlen Reusser and Lorena Wiebes mean that Team SD Worx finished the year with a sizeable advantage of 10,000 points from Lidl-Trek and Canyon//SRAM Racing, a bigger margin than the total points their rivals scored.
