Quite possibly the most in-form rider on the planet at the moment, Tadej Pogacar has been a man on a mission in 2023. However, as the spring continues when and where the Slovenian will race remains undecided.
After initially being penned in for UAE Tour a late change saw Pogacar opt for the Jaén Paraiso Interior and the Vuelta a Andalucia instead. It's fair to say the change paid off for the Slovenian as he romped to victory at both races, bringing up his 50th career win in the process.

Looking forward, Pogacar was expected to return to the Strade Bianche and defend the title he won last year however that no longer seems the case. He is currently on the provisional start list for the Amstel Gold Race, a race he hasn't been to since 2019, but whether or not he will be there when the flag drops remains to be seen.
According to In de Leiderstrui, UAE Team Emirates and Pogacar himself are yet to decide whether or not racing the Amstel Gold Race and La Fleche Wallone is in the best interest of the Slovenian superstar. One thing for definite is that Pogacar will be racing Paris-Nice for the first time in his career, beginning on the 5th of March and with his current form he'll be one of the hot favourites for victory.
