Tadej Pogacar & Michael Matthews continue budding bromance with day out go-karting

In images that are sure to make Lance Armstrong crease with frustration, Classics rivals Tadej Pogacar and Michael Matthews have continued to showcase their budding bromance with a day out go-karting.

Both Matthews and Pogacar carpooled to the recent Milano-Sanremo, before finishing alongside each other on the podium, although Jasper Philipsen was the man standing on the top step. Clearly great friends away from the bike, the Team Jayco AlUla and UAE Team Emirates leaders were joined in their day at the track by two of Pogacar's teammates in Tim Wellens and Alessandro Covi.

Posting images afterwards to his official Instagram account, Matthews captions the post "Awesome day with the boys today karting in south of France today, nice to take the mind of cycling for a moment, cheers boys." It's worth noting too, that whilst Pogacar so often gets the better of the pair on the bike, behind the wheel it was Matthews who triumphed.
