Startlist Tre Valli Varesine 2025 | Riders: Tadej Pogacar, Primoz Roglic, Isaac del Toro, Ben Healy, Quinn Simmons...
Cycling
On the 7th of October we have another one of the Italian autumn classics, the Tre Valli Varesine. This is one of the most prestigious late-season races and is often used as preparation towards Il Lombardia. The race starts off at 12:15CET and should finish at 16:40CET.
The 198-kilometer long race follows a traditional course, which will include many laps of a hilly circuit in and around Varese. There are 3400 meters of climbing and it's a race that isn't as difficult but resembles the World and European Championships.
Here we have a 4-kilometer ascent with a small flat section that will be ridden all day long, but in the final laps there is a similar but extra climb added in to the mix with ramps of over 10%. The final kilometer of the race is flat but this comes after a short climb where differences can still be made. A sprint finish isn't impossible however.
The race is headlined by Tadej Pogacar, the new World and European Champion who starts off with the number 1 on his back. Isaac del Toro, the dominator of the recent Italian autumn classics, is also at the start, making for a virtually unbeatable duo for today's race. The likes of Lenny Martínez, Ben Healy, Egan Bernal, Quinn Simmons, Primoz Roglic and Jai Hindley headline a startlist that is very strong in a race that fits both climbers and classics specialists ahead of Il Lombardia.

- With the injuries he has, it's probably best not to rush back, so it's ok if is form is poor for a while.Hills3304-10-2026
- He will come back next year and smoke everyone we all know it. With vengeance. The worriying part is that noone can beat UAE even when pogacar is hurt, other teams and captains cant beat Pogacaer domestiques lol...Montreal and WC was insane and if were honest how on the world can anyone beat pogacar on that team when noone can even beat his teammates. Del Toro is probably 2 best overall rider in world already.. Absolutely crazy team..miguel04-10-2026
- A deserved win by the Aero Bullet. I know he isn’t loved by all cycling fans, but I for one am looking forward to seeing him in the European bands! Chapeau Remco.anonymouscyclist04-10-2026
- Bro he just barely won after silly crash and no tactics and more importantly no Pogi or other top riders. If he wants to give middle finger, he can do so to assuage his ego. But facts remain facts. Beat Pogi and other top riders in important races and then no need to give any middle finger at all, actions speak louder than wordsabstractengineer04-10-2026

- Why didn’t Ciccone throw his bike?! He lost the race in the last tenth of a second. What a disappointment that must be, and what a win for Evenepoel after all the work he did. His anger worked for him at the end, it seems.RidesHills04-10-2026
- An emotional goodbye when Mezgec stepped off his bike just now. Yesterday’s farewell to Quintana was touching and beautiful, and this moment with Mezgec is fabulous as well. I like that we honor those that managed to inspire and win and keep going even as cycling changed and changed and changed.RidesHills04-10-2026
