Lewis Askey In Flanders Fields - From Middelkerke to Wevelgem
Ten World Tour teams and an exciting field of versatile riders will take to the start line for the 2026 4 Jours de Dunkerque. The French 2.Pro stage race offers a varied route with difficult segments and punchy climbs offering an opportunity for many within the peloton. We take a look at its startlist.
With the focus primarily on the Giro d'Italia, fans can find more racing next week and keep their eye on some riders who are re-adjusting their focus from the spring classics to summer stage races and other grand tour goals like the Tour de France and Vuela a Espana.
Lewis Askey returns to lead NSN Cycling Team after the British rider finished runner-up in 2025. There are also opportunities for versatile sprint specialists such as Jordi Meeus, Sam Welsford and Bryan Coquard - all preliminarily slated to start.

Arvid de Kleijn makes season debut

Tudor Pro Cycling Team sprinter Arvid de Kleijn is set to make his season debut, after revealing in a recent interview that he had suffered an attack in training, became a father and suffered a family bereavement in a challenging period for the Dutchman.
Sam Watson of Netcompany Ineos took overall victory as well as a stage win in the last edition, while Axel Zingle, Askey and Jake Stewart were among the big names to also take stage honours.
Starting on Wednesday, May 20th, five stages are in store for riders. Starting in Lagny-le-Sec for the first stage and finishing in the race's namesake Dunkirk (Dunkerque), Laurence Pithie and Pavel Bittner are also stars to watch during the race.
Fans of Paris-Roubaix and cobbles will be delighted to see that race organisers have included 22 kilometers of cobblestones in stage 3 before finishing in Wallers-Arenberg, in the heart of the 'Hell of the North' route. You can download the preliminary startlist.
