Arkéa - B&B Hotels have confirmed their squad for the 2025 Vuelta a Espana, with stage victories and a potential general classification breakthrough from Cristián Rodríguez as the central objectives of an ambitious and exciting squad.
Sports manager Didier Rous made it clear in a press release, that the team is coming to Spain with an aggressive approach: “The main objective is to achieve a stage victory. We also have high hopes for our young riders — these three weeks will teach them the characteristics of a Grand Tour, enabling them to progress and gain maturity. We will have to give it a go and enjoy ourselves without any second thoughts. We can also aim for a good overall classification with Cristián Rodríguez, who has already finished 13th twice in the Tour of Spain, so why not imagine him in the top 10 this year?”
Rodríguez, who twice finished just outside the top 10 at his home Grand Tour, will lead the team once again. “He has the mental and physical abilities to do even better this season,” Rous said of the Spaniard.
Alongside him, Raúl García Pierna will also target success on home roads. After completing the Tour de France in strong fashion, the 24-year-old is doubling up with another Grand Tour and chasing at least one stage victory. “Raúl is motivated, and doing two Grand Tours in a row will do him good,” said Rous.
Alessandro Verre is another key name in the lineup. Having already impressed in the Giro d’Italia, the Italian will make his Vuelta debut with licence to attack in the mountains. Meanwhile, Belgian sprinter Jenthe Biermans is set to contest the fast finishes, supported by Grand Tour debutant Léandre Lozouet, who will also have the freedom to try his luck in breakaways.

The squad also includes Victor Guernalec, who is tipped to hunt stage wins thanks to his opportunism and versatile profile, as well as Louis Rouland, Pierre Thierry, and another debutant, each of whom will look to use the Vuelta to develop while seeking opportunities in the breakaways.
With Rodríguez eyeing a career-best GC result and several riders hungry for stage glory, Arkéa-B&B Hotels head into the 2025 Vuelta a España ready to fight on multiple fronts.
