The Paris Olympic Games provided cycling with an opportunity to go through new roads in Paris and the main attraction of the road race was without a doubt the cobbled climb to the Montmartre Basilica. Although it was a big request, the Olympics' success was so big that the city has allowed the
Tour de France to now have it's final stage go through the district.
This has been widely discussed for several months now, but there is no shadow of a doubt left. It is no longer a rumour, but instead a fact, as the race organizers confirmed on social media this morning that the route will be crossing the area once again.
