Ruben Guerreiro becomes second Movistar abandon of the day at the Tour de France

Another rider has abandoned the Tour de France on a brutal stage 14 of the race with Ruben Guerreiro becoming the second Movistar Team rider to see his race come to an end.

With half the peloton being caught up in an early crash that brought the stage to a temporary halt, the lasting effects of that crash in and amongst the peloton is still being felt. Antonio Pedrero was immediately taken off the race in an ambulance and whilst for Guerreiro the case is seemingly not as severe, he now also has had to leave the race.
