Rod Ellingowrth resigns as INEOS Grenadiers' deputy team boss

INEOS Grenadiers has lost it's deputy team boss and long-term performance manager Rod Ellingworth. It is unknown what reasons led to the demise but it comes as a hit for the British team.

Ellingowrth was an instrumental part of the team's creation back in 2009 and was a very prominent figure over it's golden years. Ellingworth was the performance manager of the team. In the 2020 season he joined Bahrain - Victorious teaming up with Mark Cavendish but returned to INEOS the following year. His demise is reported by Telegraph Sport.
