Richard Carapaz has been preparing for the 2024 season in South America. In Ecuador, the EF Education-EasyPost rider has began his season and won the time-trial national championships.
It was a strong triumph. Ecuador has seen Jhonatan Narváez shine over the opening weeks of the season, and their other star will now carry the nation's colours on his body throughout 12 months in every time-trial. He beat Jefferson Alveiro Cepeda and Jonathan Caicedo.
