Nairo Quintana continues to face the harsh repercussions of the veto imposed by the World Tour as a result of tramadol consumption during the 2022 Tour de France. Now, just before the next edition of the Grand Boucle, it has emerged that the outstanding Colombian cyclist has been offered to one of the world's most prominent teams.

According to Daniel Benson, editor-in-chief of Global Cycling Network, the Colombian rider's close circle approached a team with the goal of having him become a domestique for one of the best cyclists on the planet.

However, the journalist concluded his statements by warning that so far there has been no positive response from the Belgian team. In this way, Nairo Quintana's entourage contemplated the possibility of the Colombian cyclist becoming Remco Evenepoel's right-hand man in the next Vuelta a España, considering that the young Belgian will likely be the team leader and will be looking to defend his title, a possible alliance was considered.
