Across the under-23 ranks Raccani, until now a rider for continental team Zalf Euromobil Fior, has shown strong and consistent results throughout the hilly and mountainous races. His most recent result was a promising third results at the tough Giro Ciclistico della Valle d'Aosta - Mont Blanc, one of the best indicators for the under-23 climbers.
“I am very happy to ride as a stagiaire for this team, one of the best and most successful in the world. My dream is to become a GC rider, and this a great opportunity for me to see how it is to be among the pros on a daily basis and learn many important things that I am sure will only help me to grow as a rider," Raccani said in a press release.
He's likely to be in action later this year at the Italian autumn classics which should suit him, however he will already be put to the test this coming week at the Vuelta a Burgos.
