Profile. On the 24th of January we will see the first of the Mallorca classics which usually sees the start of many quality riders' seasons. We begin with the hilly Trofeo Calvia which presents an opportunity for many to win.
A short race but a very explosive and hard one. 150 kilometers of pure hilly racing in the Mallorcan mountains, we will see over 3000 meters of climbing throughout the day, this despite the lack of a serious ascent. This is a combination of over a dozen ascents that happen from start to finish. The arrival in Palmanova is flat, however this will only be relevant if we've got a group arriving at the finish together.
