The riders skip an extra climb that the men's course will have, and head straight into a cobbled climb. Flandrien-like, the Côte de Kimihurura is 1.3 kilometers at 5.9% and ends very close to the finish, but the riders will then continue to ascend all the way to the finish line, meaning it is key to save the legs to the final kilometers. This can benefit climbers such as
Demi Vollering and Katarzyna Niewiadoma, but TT specialists like
Marlen Reusser and
Chloé Dygert can by no means be called weak in such short climbs it must be said.
