On the 17th of February the riders will tackle one of the most recent and also exciting one-day races of the season. A 'warm-up' to Strade Bianche in a way, the
Clásica Jaén Paraiso Interior provides the road peloton with a lot of racing on gravel roads through hilly terrain in Spain. We
preview the race ahead.
The race will be 174 kilometers long, mostly a regular one in the first half, whilst the second half will be very difficult and chaotic. The race has 2500 meters of climbing without a single big mountain, but most notably the final 75 kilometer have 32.6 kilometers of gravel sectors - around 50% of it.
It will be ideal terrain for attacks and aggressive racing, a race designed for spectacular competition and a mix of different riders battling for the win.
