Poll. Stage 18 of the Vuelta a Espana may hand out another dramatic set of climbs. After being dropped on the Alto de l'Angliru, Sepp Kuss' leadership has taken another hit and at this point it will be a fight for every second against his own teammates Jonas Vingegaard and Primoz Roglic.
The 18th stage will not have such a difficult final ascent but overall it is a day just as hard. Into Cruz de la Linares the gradients will be brutal and the ascent will be ridden twice, in a day with four complicated ascents which will be the final high mountain stage of the race.
