Mathieu van der Poel showed good legs today, but he just missed out on the podium at the GP de Wallonie. The win was taken by Gonzalo Serrano who put in an impressive effort with a late attack.
The Spaniard attacked already inside the final minute of racing, Serrano bridged across to Dylan Teuns who had attacked just before inside the final ascent to Namur, and then took the victory. Teuns rode to second whilst Jasper de Buyst sprinted to third place from the chasing group behind.
