Poll. Stage 3 of the Vuelta a Espana will be an important day. The opening two stages proved very different and very tricky challenges, but now as the riders already arrive to the mountains they face the first summit finish where moves in the overall classification are expected.
The first mountain stage of the race is always one where the breakaway can succeed, and with Andrea Piccolo in red, the jersey is likely to change at the end of the day. The question however will be what will happen when it comes to the GC contenders. The summit finish in Arinsal is tough and will see them come to the front in what is a first direct head-to-head between the favourites.
