🚨 Pascal Ackermann will ride for Israel Premier Tech next season. First reported by @WielerFlits 🇩🇪🇮🇱 Ackermann will take a leadout rider from Lotto Dstny with him.
The sprinter carousel will continue to run at full speed during the 2023 transfer market. The next big sprinter name to switch teams is Pascal Ackermann. The 29-year old German is on his way to Israel - Premier Tech, according to WielerFlits.
In 2020, Ackermann was also allowed to celebrate twice at La Vuelta a España, but he decided to leave BORA-hansgrohe, where he had not had the chance to ride the Tour de France. Last May, the German sprint bomb won another stage at the Giro d'Italia.
However, the cooperation did not bring what both parties had hoped for. The roads between Ackermann and UAE Emirates separate after this season. Various sources report to WielerFlits that the German will sign a contract with Israel-Premier Tech sometime in the coming weeks. In that team, the sprinters this year are called Giacomo Nizzolo, Corbin Strong and Itamar Einhorn.
Additionally, it seems that Ackermann will be accompanied by another German rider with World Tour experience - wither Rudiger Selig or Michael Schwarzmann (both currently at Lotto Dstny).
