The Tour Colombia returns in 2024 and will have a star-studded field by the seems. Mark Cavendish joins the lineup as he officially announces it, joining the likes of Richard Carapaz and Egan Bernal.
"Hi friends, I'm so excited to spend my first time in Colombia at Tour Colombia next year. One of Latin America's biggest races, so come and see us... for a race in a land that has produced some incredible bike riders. I'll see you soon," the Manxman said in a video shared by the Colombian cycling federation. He will face a tough route which includes a 2800-meter high summit finish, but will have opportunities to sprint in what may be his first race of the year.
