Mike Teunissen successfully undergoes surgery for a broken collarbone

Intermarché-Circus-Wanty have announced that their rider, Mike Teunissen has successfully undergone surgery for a broken collarbone.

"Mike Teunissen underwent successful surgery on 16 November after suffering a broken collarbone during training," the team announced on their official social media pages. "Rehabilitation began immediately and will not affect his racing plan for 2024. Get well soon Mike!"

Taking two wins in 2023, Teunissen won stages at both the Tour of Norway and the Renewi Tour and impressed at the European Championships, finishing fifth in the men's road race.
