Miguel Ángel López's brutal victory in the Tour de Catamarca

When the road gets steep Miguel Ángel López has no rival in America. The talented Colombian climber of Team Medellin - EPM has won with authority in the third stage of the Tour de Catamarca.

Lopez crossed the finish line in first position ahead of his teammate Javier Jamaica and Movistar - Best PC rider Santiago Montenegro. Fifth, the first non-Colombian, was Spanish veteran Óscar Sevilla.

The third stage of the Vuelta a Catamarca was 99.8 kilometers long and had a very hard finish in the Alto de Portezuelo where the former Astana rider won.
