Matteo Jorgenson, Brandon McNulty and Kristen Faulkner lead America's chase for medal at World Championships after Olympic Games success

The World Championships in Zurich are coming up and several teams are announcing their lineups. The United States of America are now having their riders confirmed for the races and it includes Olympic Champion Kristen Faulkner, Matteo Jorgenson and Brandon McNulty as the most notable figures.

On the women's side the Americans have good chances of succeeding, with Kristen Faulkner a contender for the road race whilst Chloé Dygert will want revenge after crashing in the Olympics which took her out of the fight for victory.

On the men's side both Brandon McNulty and Magnus Sheffield are both strong outsiders for the medals, with the UAE Team Emirates rider being specially dangerous after winning the first time-trial of the Vuelta a España in impressive fashion.

USA for women's Elite time-trial: Chloé Dygert, Amber Neben, Ruth Edwards and Emily Ehrlich.

USA for men's Elite time-trial: Magnus Sheffield, Brandon McNulty.

USA for men's under-23 time-trial: AJ August, Artem Schmidt.

USA for men's junior time-trial: Ashlin Barry.

USA for women's elite road race: Kristen Faulkner, Chloé Dygert, Ruth Edwards, Emily Ehrlich, Lauren Stephens, Heidi Franz.

USA for men's elite road race: Matteo Jorgenson, Quinn Simmons, Riley Sheehan, Brandon McNulty, Sean Quinn, Neilson Powless, Kevin Vermaerke and Magnus Sheffield.
