Matej Mohoric and Jonathan Milan to lead Bahrain-Victorious at Renewi Tour

Bahrain-Victorious brings some its strongest classic and sprinting names to the re-established Renewi Tour, formerly known as Eneco Tour, BinckBank Tour or Benelux Tour. Sports director Roman Kreuziger takes us through what's coming up in next days.

"We can expect a very nervous opening and closing stages with narrow roads and possibly crosswinds but it should all come together for a sprint. There will be aggressive racing on stage 3 with a cobbled circuit. Along with the second day’s time trial it’s probably the most important for the GC."

"On those days we want to focus on Jonathan for a sprint but still maintain pay attention to the GC. Looking at the startlist we are not the team that needs to control, even for Johnny, as there are other good sprinters, but we do aim to win."

"For me it’s the first time doing Benelux but with Michal Golas and Sonny we have plenty of knowledge to guide the boys well during the week. The team has almost always done well here, so our objective is to be on the podium with Matej or Fred and to win a stage," Kreuziger concludes.

Bahrain-Victorious line-up for Renewi Tour:
Matej Mohoric, Fred Wright, Andrea Pasqualon, Johan Price-Pejtersen, Jonathan Milan, Niccolo Buratti and Dusan Rajovic
