EOLO-Kometa signs experienced Colombian Jhonatan Restrepo for next season

Jhonatan Restrepo will bring a lot of experience into the team led by Alberto Contador and Ivan Basso which will lose both of its leaders; Vincenzo Albanese (Arkéa) and Lorenzo Fortunato (Astana). Team Polti as the Italian PRT team will be newly called from 2024 onwards will try to build a new team around their youngsters such as Davide Piganzoli.

Restrepo has three-years worth of experience from the highest level, racing for Katusha Alpecin between 2016 and 2018, since then we saw the fast Colombian in services of smaller PRT teams and last year, even in Gianni Savio's GW Shimano-Sidermec continental team for whom he won Giro della Città Metropolitana di Reggio Calabria (1.1) in April.
