Marlen Reusser was not present at the start of stage 7 of Tour de France Femmes. She was involved in the crash in stage 6 which gave her some major injuries.
SD Worx rider crashed 22 kilometers before the finish line. Although she was able to finish the stage 15 minutes after stage winner Marianne Vos. Later she was taken to the hospital where doctors diagnosed her with a head injury.
She is the winner of the fourth stage in the tour. Her abandonment will be a big setback for SD Worx as they will be left with Demi Vollering and Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio for GC. She held the 59th position in GC before her departure from the tour.
