Lorena Wiebes extended her lead with another stage victory in the
Baloise Ladies Tour. She won in the sprint against her rivals and crossed the line, followed by Ellen van Dijk who finished second. Daria Pikulik finished third.
Ellen van Dijk attempted to create some distance at the start of the race, but her attempt remained fruitless. Then after some time Wiebes along with Ellen van Dijk, Audrey Cordon-Ragot, Alison Jackson, Marthe Truyen, and teammate Georgi Pfeiffer rode ahead of the peloton.
Georgie Howe managed to leave breakaway and take a lead of 50 seconds. Van Dijk and Cordon-Ragot were the first to sprint for the finish, Wiebes counterattacked with sprint and crossed the finish line ahead of them.
