Lars van der Haar beats Eli Iserbyt to secure victory in Koppenbergcross

Lars van der Haar has won the Koppenbergcross. He beat Michael Vanthourenhout and Eli Iserbyt in the last lap to secure the win. This is his 3rd victory of the season.
Eli Iserbyt started with a nice lead but couldn’t hold it for long. Lander Loockx, Michael Vanthourenhout, Thibau Nys and Lars van der Haar joined Iserbyt in the front. After some time the race turned into an exciting battle between Iserbyt and Van der Haar.
Iserbyt put pressure on Van der Haar, but he encountered a chain problem and lost the lead. Vanthourenhout joined Van der Haar in the last lap and even managed to create a gap of seven seconds. Van der Haar crashed and this gave Iserbyt enough time to catch up to him.
Van der Haar and Iserbyt managed to catch up with Vanthourenhout before the final sprint. Lars van der Haar was the fastest and secured the victory. Eli Iserbyt finished second while Michael Vanthourenhout took the bronze.
