Letizia Paternoster diagnosed with broken collarbone after crash in European track cycling championships

European track cycling championships was not so good for Letizia Paternoster as the rider was involved in a crash. She was diagnosed with a broken collarbone after being taken to the hospital.

"I'm going to try to smile and think about the upcoming goals because, unfortunately, I broke my collarbone in three places and fell hard on my head. I want to thank everyone for the messages," Paternoster wrote on social media.

She collided with a Pole during the race and lost balance resulting in a fall. She received care from medical staff and later went to the hospital, where she learned about her broken collarbone. She will now focus on recovering before making return to the peloton.
