The Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes is not only shaped by attacks in the mountains and sprint finishes on the road, but also by the decisions made behind the scenes by the race commissaires. The French race takes place from the 7th to 14th of June and we take a look at the fines, time penalties, relegations, and other sanctions can quickly influence stage results, jersey competitions, and even the overall fight for the Maglia Rosa.
