Julian Alaphilippe's cousin to leave his role as Soudal - Quick-Step coach

Franck Alaphilippe, cousin of the two-time world champion Julian Alaphilippe will depart his role as Soudal - Quick-Step coach according to reports in the French press.

As reported by Le Berry Républicain and L'Equipe, Franck Alaphilippe, a long time coach of his cousin as well as other riders in the teams set up, has not seen his contract renewed by Soudal - Quick-Step, meaning his time alongside Julian will now come to an end.

Nevertheless, for the star of French cycling, life goes on and as the report by L'Equipe continues, Alaphilippe is expected to return to action at the Tour Down Under with his ultimate goals being success in the Classics.
