José Joaquín Rojas will continue with Movistar Team!... as part of the staff: "The idea is that he will be one of the directors"

A few days ago José Joaquín Rojas announced on social networks that he was leaving professional cycling after 19 seasons in the elite and 17 within Movistar Team. Now, the rider from Murcia has explained that he will continue to be part of the structure of Abarca Sports, as he becomes one more of the staff led by Eusebio Unzué.

"Now I make calendars, excel to the fullest as a professional, now after retirement I get to do a little counseling for young people and director so well," he confessed to Pablo Ordorica, the person in charge (among other things) of social networks in the telephone set.

"It's been a week since I announced my retirement, this has been a surprise for everyone, Eusebio told me not to say anything to anyone and to introduce myself at the presentation and people were surprised when they saw me coming. The idea is for me to be one of the directors, I have a lot of experience on the bike side and I want to acquire it now in the car, I felt like contributing to the team in different ways," he confessed.
