Jonathan Milan will not start Kuurne - Bruxelles - Kuurne due to "gastrointestinal problems"

One of Lidl-Trek's big Classics hopes, Jonathan Milan could only manage a disappointing 70th placed finish at Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. Perhaps now we know why, as the Italian will not start Kuurne - Bruxelles - Kuurne this Sunday due to overnight illness.
"Our Sunday at Opening Weekend doesn’t start in the best way," says an official announcement by the Lidl-Trek social media pages. "With Jonathan Milan out of the competition at Kuurne - Bruxelles - Kuurne due to gastrointestinal problem suffered yesterday after the race."
