Jonas Vingegaard has won the queen stage of the CRO Race. He beat Oscar Onley to secure his second victory in the tour.
The breakaway included Mirco Maestri and Lennard Hofstede, and three other riders. The group of five took a lead of 1 minute and 30 seconds. Soon Jonas Vingegaard, Gijs Leemreize, Oscar Onley, Piere Rolland and Axel Laurance and Max Poole joined the group.
The group was caught in the final 5 kilometres. Vingegaard started the climb in the final kilometre, and Oscal Onley followed him, at one point, Onley was ahead of him, but Vingegaard managed to cross the finish line first. Onley took the silver. Matej Mohoric finished third. Vingegaard is the new GC leader.
