Jonas Vingegaard before final stage of CRO Race - "It's going to be another hectic and difficult day tomorrow, My form is satisfying, though"

It was a good day for Jonas Vingegaard in the CRO Race. The Jumbo Visma rider booked his second stage win in the tour and is now also first in the general classification.

"We had made a plan beforehand to attack already on the long climb. We all executed this well," Vingegaard said. He contiues, "The whole team was super strong and Gijs Leemreize in particular. Gijs, I think, rode eighty kilometres in the lead. I'm glad I was able to finish."

Vingegaard once again had a sprint duel with Team DSM rider Oscar Onley, and once again, he came out on top. "I started a little too early, but with the last effort, I managed to cross the line first," said Vingegaard.

It will be interesting to watch who will win the tour, especially since Vingegaard now has 8 second lead over Mohoric and Onley. "It's going to be another hectic and difficult day tomorrow, with plenty of bonification seconds. I am by no means sure of the overall victory. We will have to be very sharp. My form is satisfying, though,” concluded Vingegaard.
