Reigning Giro d'Italia winner Jai Hindley will not take to the start line at La Fleche Wallone. The 26-year-old is a last-minute withdrawal due to a respiratory infection.
According to an official update posted to the BORA - hansgrohe Twitter page, "Unfortunately, Jai Hindley will not start today due to an upper respiratory tract infection," the post reads. "Heal up soon, Jai."
With the Australian absent, BORA - hansgrohe have opted against calling up a late replacement, instead they begin the race with just six riders.

Obviously Tour climbing shape is not what is needed for the classics, but the difference was too much. From then on I wasn't optimistic going into GP de Montréal and the Worlds.
