Important Visma | Lease a Bike staff member leaves the team after 12 years to pursue a career in Formula 1

It was not so long that Team Visma | Lease a Bike restructuralized it's management with the departure of Merijn Zeeman (to football club AZ Alkmaar) in mind and now another key person is leaving with Commercial Director Sander Kruis, who's been with the Dutch formation for more than 12 years. He'll be replaced by Chief Business Officer Jasper Saeijs.

"This organization has shaped me not only as a professional but also as a person," says Kruis in a press release. "I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities and trust I have received here and look back with great pride on the commercial and sporting milestones we have achieved together."

"Now feels like the right time to spread my wings and take on new experiences, knowing that I leave behind a strong and well-prepared business team. I will now embark on an exciting new challenge as Head of Partnership Acquisition at the Audi F1 Project in Switzerland."

Team Visma | Lease a Bike's CEO Richard Plugge confirms that the team had enough time to prepare for Kruis' departure and that his current tasks will be smoothly taken over by other staff. "When Sander indicated he was ready for a new challenge, we immediately set to work on further strengthening our business team in line with our growth ambitions."

As a replacement for the Commercial director, Jasper Saeijs has been appointed as Chief Business Officer. From his position within the management team, he will lead the partnerships, events, marketing, and communications departments.
