"I'm sure he's going to win plenty more" - Connor Swift praises INEOS teammate and new British time-trial champion Joshua Tarling

A third-placed finish in the individual time-trial at the British National Championships was an impressive performance for Connor Swift. Post-race he was full of praise for teenage sensation Joshua Tarling.
Riding together at the INEOS Grenadiers, Swift knows Tarling well and is backing the 19-year-old to go on to achieve bigger and better things in the coming years. "I like to test myself against the clock every now and then and keep on improving in the time-trials," Swift told Channel VeloUK post-race.
"To come away on the podium, I'm pretty happy with that," he continued before turning his attention to Tarling. "The boys got some big power! And yeah, the jersey suits him well. I'm sure he's going to win plenty more."
