Andrea Piccolo has officially joined EF Education-EasyPost. The young Italian rider will make his debut for the team at the Tour de l’Ain on August 9th.
"All teams in the WorldTour are good, of course, but I was looking forward to joining EF Education-EasyPost. It's a great honor for me," said Piccolo.

He continues, “The last two years have been really challenging for me. But I am thankful for my family and for the courage they have given me to get here. This year, I have found a good path, and I am really happy. Everything is looking good.”
He secured third place in the 2018 world junior time trial and won the 2019 European junior time trial championship. It's no surprise that the team was so interested in him as he secured fourth place at the Italian Championships, sixth place in the Sibiu Tour, and seventh place in the Ordiziako Klasika. He also finished second in the Circuito de Getxo.
