Team Cofidis has revealed its roster for the upcoming Tour de Wallonie. Guillaume Martin to lead the team.
Martin was forced to abandon the Tour de France after testing covid positive in the ninth stage. He has now made a full recovery and hopes to prove himself in the upcoming tour. He secured the fifth position in GC in Mont Ventoux Dénivelé Challenge, and fourteenth in Giro d'Italia .
He will be supported by his teammate José Herrada and François Bidardin during the mountain stages. Axel Zingle is more of a one-day rider, but he has proven his worth in the team to secure a spot in the tour. He secured third in national championships. Kenneth Vanbilsen will be responsible for breakaways and sprints.

- I remember one of the favorites saying in an interview, that if he sees Tadej begin to attack, he would not even bother to follow. Maybe that is the prevailing mindset in the peloton, the reason why Tadej is able to get away 50km from the finish. This only happens in 1-day races, not in a grand tour.FredMan26-08-2026
