Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team has reported Ilan Van Wilder will not be a part of the upcoming Tour de Wallonie. The Belgian rider is suffering from gastroenteritis.
Ilan van Wilder was a crucial rider for the team, especially in the hilly stages. The team was counting on him as another GC option after Julian Alaphilippe. Now the team will have to manage without their climber. His teammate Stan Van Tricht will be taking his place in the tour.
