Grace Brown wins women's Tour Down under after victory in queen stage

It was a big day for Grace Brown who hit the jackpot at the Tour Down Under, conquering the overall classification after defeating Amanda Spratt on a head-to.-head.
For the second consecutive day Spratt was caught almost inside the line after a late attack - this time on the corkscrew, Brown had been dropped but caught up with her in sight of the line and outsprinted her. Georgia Williams sprinted for third place behind, sealing her third place in the GC.

My bike is slow, my legs are slow, I'm so much slower than I once was, and I love every moment of being out on 2 wheels. My enjoyment of the sport has nothing to do with how good the pros are. Any athlete treating this remotely like an amateur sport (in terms of weight training, nutrition, lack of altitude camps, and so on) will not succeed. - MSR no competition? From the Cipressa onward, that was the most amazing MSR finish I've ever watched! Same with Paris-Roubaix, which together with Flanders had the racing start much, much earlier than before. Senna196001-05-2025 - That was nice of Jonas to give this guy a great memory he'll have forever. From this photo it looks like Jonas has some muscle back that he lost last year after his crash, hopefully this means the Tour will be more competitive between him and Tadej.awp01-05-2025
- He and Pogacar both have taken insane risks on descents, particularly in time trials. I have to imagine most cycling fans would be happy to see them back off a bit.
