The
INEOS Grenadiers team has been on a constant search for elite riders to reinforce its squad for Grand Tours classification competitions. Remco Evenepoel, Tadej Pogacar and Primoz Roglic have all been mentioned in recent months. This has been amusing to
Thomas de Gendt, who has shared a comment on X in which he 'offers' himself to the British team.
"For a few million I'll have another go at a GT GC. (No success guaranteed) (No refunds)" commented in a mocking tone the Lotto-Dstny rider who finished third in the 2012 Giro d'Italia and has since focused on what he is best at: trying to get stage wins with endless breakaways and which have paid off for them: 2 stages in the Tour, 2 in the Giro and one in the Vuelta.
