After numerous, high profile departures from the team in recent weeks,
INEOS Grenadiers reportedly have added the former time-trial world champion,
Tobias Foss to their ranks for 2023.
A deal between the INEOS Grenadiers and Foss has long been rumoured and now, according to the usually reliable Norwegian cycling medium Landevei, a deal has been struck. As mentioned, the 26-year-old took victory in the individual time-trial at the 2022 World Championships in Wollongong and his arrival at INEOS adds further expertise in the discipline alongside the likes of Filippo Ganna and Josh Tarling.
After a disappointing 2023, Foss will be hoping a change in team will be able to reinvigorate his career and get him back to his best. Only able to add one victory to his palmares this year, Foss could only manage to finish 11th in defence of his World Championship title.
"I tried to train as usual, but then I relapsed. I have had to take several breaks, but so far I have not been able to find a balance between activity and rest," said the Norwegian to GD.no at the time.
