Finn Fisher-Black set to return to competition following serious injuries

Finn Fisher-Black is making his return to cycling after a long break. He suffered a fracture to his femur early this year but has recovered completely and is training for the coming season.

He is scheduled to compete in Tour Down Under this January. He has not raced professionally since Boucles de la Mayenne when he sustained a fracture to his femur. "Finn is a fantastic rider and one of the young guys within our team that we really believe in. He was in very good form before his crash and was already eligible for Tour selection this year,” Team boss Mauro Gianetti told VeloNews.

Additionally, he spoke briefly about his recovery and plans for the future. "He is now back and fully recovered from his crash. He has already had a couple of training weeks with an eye on next season. He will in all likelihood make his appearance at the Tour Down Under. Hopefully he will have a good winter and be very motivated. He is so incredibly talented and can become a very successful rider in the future," Gianetti concluded.
