Enric Mas leads all-out Movistar GC team for Vuelta a Espana

Movistar Team has unveiled its '8' for the Vuelta a España 2023 with Enric Mas as the undisputed leader of the team. Fernando Gaviria will not be in the lineup whilst the team focuses on the GC and hilly day breakaways.

Movistar will go with Enric Mas as strong man to try to get into a drawer in a round with rivals like Primoz Roglic, Remco Evenepoel, Jonas Vingegaard or Geraint Thomas. For this, the Mallorcan will have a great team with riders like Oier Lazkano, Einer Rubio, Rúben Guerreiro or Carlos Verona.

In order to try to win non-mountain stages, Iván García Cortina has been the man chosen to enter the final call-up after his great Vuelta a Burgos. Jorge Arcas and Nelson Oliveira complete the '8'. Guerreiro replaced Gaviria last-minute, a move that sees the team put more focus onto the hilly and mountainous days.
